Role overview:
Predominantly responsible for the infrastructure support and maintenance for users in our Singapore offices as well as remote regions where required.
The ideal candidate will have a good understanding of the standard Windows desktop environment and experience in working in an Enterprise Front Office/Banking/Trading environment.
There may be a requirement to work shifts in order to cover trading times, although the hours covered are not expected to be outside of 7am – 7pm, with occasional weekend work. This role is a great opportunity for someone who is a self-starter, pro-active and keen to enhance/develop their technical skills set through both hands-on experience and training
Key Capabilities/ Knowlege:
Desktop & Trade Floor support experience working in a major financial institution within a dynamic operational support environment.
A rounded engineer with knowledge across the infrastructure stack and the ability to work with all those they interact with. Exposure to front office application support
Essential skills:
- Trading floor or experience of high pressure environments
- Drive to succeed and deliver

- Windows 10 Operating systems
- Working knowledge of SCCM/Microsoft Application Virtualisation and/or similar technologies
- Experience of working with Virtual Desktop Environments
- Office 2021, 2019 including custom built Excel add-in support.
- Trader Telephony such as VOIP technologies (SIP, H323 for Avaya and SpeakerBus telephony systems)
- Core understanding of TCP/IP, Networking Technologies and desk level patching
- Market Data Application experience, namely Bloomberg
- HP Desktop Hardware products and support
- Mobile device support experience(Blackberry UEM)
- Core Application troubleshooting
- Knowledge of Citrix Environments
Desirable Skills:
- Polycom/Microsoft Teams video Conferencing
- Exposure to excel VBA
- Exposure to SQL Server
- Knowledge of TradeFlow
