We are looking for a UX Designer to join the ride in creating solutions to make things easy and efficient for our customers and employees.

As a UX designer, your main task will involve conceptualizing, designing and improving our business platforms. You will join a multi-disciplinary team of 10 designers responsible for the end-to-end experience of business customers and bank employees.

The focus of this team is on the financing request experience and all its supporting services. This is a complex space, and we have very ambitious plans, so get ready for the challenge!

• Work together with PO’s, BA’s and developers to translate business requirements into innovative concepts. 

• Improve new and existing journeys and help us build scalable products.

• Apply the Rabobank design system during concept development and design new components to extend our library.  

• Prepare and conduct user research and user tests.

• Work together with other designers and be responsible for all steps in the design process. If necessary, you involve other designers and specialists to help you with this.

• Collaborate with product owners, front-end developers and other stakeholders to ensure a smooth development process and a high-quality outcome.

• Work in a small design team, led by a Lead Designer. You will meet weekly to check-in and have weekly design review sessions.

We are looking for a talented designer who can use creativity, problem-solving and communication skills to handle the complex context of a bank.  

• You have at least 3 years of experience in UX design and confidently take responsibility and ownership of design projects.  

• You have what’s needed to work in a fast-paced environment and are eager to learn new skills and methodologies. 

• You see the challenge in working with complex user interfaces and you are both a structured strategic thinker and a creator of pixel-perfect designs. 

• You are a designer by heart but are experienced and confident performing user research tasks, such as user interviews and usability tests.

• You are comfortable working in a multidisciplinary team of designers, developers, marketeers, and other stakeholders and able to manage these different perspectives and interests.  

• You are fluent with design and prototyping tools like Figma, and familiar with ideation and user research methods.  

• You have experience with delivering final designs and supporting the development teams to implement them.  

• You can communicate professionally in English.

• Knowledge of the Dutch language is a plus.
