Structural
SUMMARY
Responsible for creating structural box samples to assist Sales Representatives in sales promotions.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS
- Discuss design projects with Sales Representatives and be able to select the appropriate designs needed and draw designs.
- Make samples on CAD table or cut samples by hand.
- Record keeping and filing of specifications.
- Meet time schedules on projects with possible overtime involved.
- Make production specifications from prototype.
- Comply with all company policies and procedures, including safety and maintaining good housekeeping.
- Additional duties may be assigned by management.

REQUIREMENTS/QUALIFICATIONS
Education:
- Associates degree or higher in the field of computers, CAD, or drafting. Will consider years of experience in lieu of a degree
Experience
- 3–5-years’ experience in corrugated preferred
- Knowledge of Artios CAD, Kongsberg table, or similar tools.
- Experience with Windows and Microsoft Office programs.

Physical Requirements:
- Sit or stand as needed.
- May require walking primarily on a level surface for periodic periods throughout the day.
- Reaching above shoulder heights, below the waist or lifting as required to file documents or store materials during the workday.
- May include lifting to 25 pounds for files, computer printouts on occasion.
Work Environment:
- Primary environment: ambient room temperatures, lighting and traditional office equipment as found in a typical office environment.
- May occasionally require exposure to the manufacturing areas were under certain areas require the use of personal protective equipment such as Safety Glasses with Side Shields and mandatory hearing protection.
- Work in office located in Bridgeview, Illinois.
