The Martech Solution Designer will be a key contributor on the MarTech team, responsible for aligning marketing technology with operations, strategy, and execution goals. You will create and support an end-to-end integrated marketing stack, recommend "how" to utilize the technologies available to solve a particular communications strategy and implement cloud driven solutions.
You will be partnering across Campaign Operations, Marketing Operations, MarTech and Technology teams to accurately deliver more than 550M 1:1 customer impressions per year. You will serve as the data architect, focused on designing, creating, deploying and managing the data architecture within the MarTech space across the applications consuming data for 1:1 comms delivery.
You must be a self-starter and thought leader who possesses a strong track record in standardizing work products and streamlining processes, with a willingness and ability to work collaboratively and effectively across departments to deliver efficiencies in the business.

Primary Responsibilities and Essential Functions

  • Functions as a data architect, focused on designing, creating, deploying, and managing the data architecture within the MarTech space across the applications consuming data for 1:1 comms delivery
  • Partners across the organization on data modeling and product design to advance communications requirements
  • Understands best practices for marketing process and aligns technology solutions to optimize the processes across the business
  • Defines how the data will be stored, consumed, integrated, and managed by different data entities and IT systems, as well as any applications using or processing that data in some way
  • Help select, estimate, configure, and implement marketing solutions to support core system integrations
  • Manages data infrastructure in a manner that meets security and legal requirements
  • Manages MarTech portfolio, benchmarks against latest technologies and industry trends and leads proof of concept efforts to test and validate usefulness of software solutions for communications initiatives
  • Analyzes new business requirements, determine current performance, and build and manage detailed project plans to implement improvements and/or corrective actions
  • Lead in the automation of key processes inclusive of design, integration, and administration of processes
  • Work with Business partners and delivery teams to perform data discovery and generate mappings for all CNS (Customer Notification System) operational communications. Identify and categorize CNS event data streams based on operational comms
  • Work with delivery teams to identify and define logic that would map to comms creative templates which requires ability to read and understand HTML and CSS templates to derive logic
  • Develop and maintain strong partnerships with boundary and third-party partners to ensure coordinated implementations and deployments


Minimum

  • BA/BS degree and 6 years of related experience, OR MS degree and 4 years of related experience, OR Ph.D. and 1 year of related experience OR High school diploma/GED and 10 years of related experience
  • 6+ years of experience managing large projects for large/enterprise organizations
  • 3+ years of experience with implementing Marketing Clouds or similar multi-channel marketing automation stack
  • 3+ years of experience integrating marketing technology with enterprise applications
  • Must have a foundation in systems development: as a Cox data architect and should understand the system development life cycle; software project management approaches; and requirements, design, and test techniques
  • Experience in AWS services (Athena, Cloudwatch, RDS, Lambda, policy creation and others) and components and ability to implement business logic and rules to create tree-like navigation or path in Event Gateway
  • Demonstrate excellent verbal and written communication, with ability to adapt to different audiences
  • Excellent presentation skills, with an aptitude to manage expectations between stakeholder groups
  • Strong work ethic with the ability to adapt to the situation, be flexible, resourceful, and nimble in terms of work planning, and the ability to think quickly on your feet
  • Demonstrated ability to work with a sense of urgency
  • Ability to foster and work in an inclusive environment


Preferred

  • 3+ years of Adobe Campaign Classic experience
  • Experience in the telecommunications industry
