The Custom Compute and Storage Business Unit provides custom solutions for high performance compute, server, network processing and storage applications. CCS products employ state-of-the-art custom and industry standard technologies such as CXL, PCIE, Ethernet, and ARM CPU cores.

What You Can Expect

  • Providing leadership for a geographically dispersed team of verification professionals in pre-silicon validation of highly complex SoC designs. 

  • Contribute to the development and future direction of SoC verification methodologies and environments. 

  • Analyze designs and architectures to develop test strategies that will ensure functional correctness. 

  • Develop and direct development of tests that achieve coverage goals. 

  • Debug failures and work with designers and other verification engineers to resolve issues.  

  • Mentoring of junior DV engineers

What We're Looking For

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering or related fields and 10-15 years of related professional experience. Or Master’s degree and/or PhD in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering or related fields with 5-10 years of experience.

  • Extremely strong programming skills including object-oriented design and implementation. Proficient using C/C++, Verilog, and ARM assembly. 

  • Experience with System Verilog (UVM preferred).

  • Experience with analyzing complex systems.

  • Experience with writing detailed test plans.

  • Experience with scripting language such as Python or Perl and EDA Verification tools.

  • Good understanding of Linux OS.

  • Understanding of networking protocols a plus.

  • Strong cross functional communication skills.

Expected Base Pay Range (USD)

137,510 - 206,000, $ per annum

The successful candidate’s starting base pay will be determined based on job-related skills, experience, qualifications, work location and market conditions. The expected base pay range for this role may be modified based on market conditions.

This role is eligible for our hybrid work model in which you will be able to split time between working from home and on-site in a Marvell office.
