Design Release Engineer

Major Accountabilities:

1. Incorporate DFM/DFT principles into product designs to optimize manufacturability, assembly, and testing processes.
2. Manage cost, mass, and timing targets for assigned projects, ensuring that design solutions meet budgetary constraints and project schedules.
3. Conduct cost analysis, mass estimation, and timing planning throughout the design and development process to achieve project objectives.
4. Implement and manage design changes in accordance with established change management processes and procedures.
5. Utilize SolidWorks CAD software to create, modify, and analyze detailed engineering designs and models.
6. Develop 3D models, assemblies, and drawings to communicate design concepts and specifications.
7. Apply ANSYS simulation tools for finite element analysis (FEA) and computational fluid dynamics (CFD) to evaluate product performance, structural integrity, and thermal behavior.
8. Use Altium Designer for electronic circuit design, schematic capture, and PCB layout.
9. Design and develop PCBs with consideration for electrical performance, signal integrity, and manufacturability.
10. Employ Mentor Graphics Xpedition software for PCB layout, routing, and design validation.
11. Manage design data, documentation, and revisions using Siemens Teamcenter PLM software.
12. Utilize CATIA software for advanced 3D modeling, surface design, and mechanical engineering tasks.
