Engineering of technical (improvement) projects for our fleet Multi-disciplinary scope – Steel structure – Piping – Vessel and dredging equipment
Involved mainly in the design phase, but consulted until the implementation
As built drawing amendments of P&IDs and construction drawings
Communicate with many different stakeholders, both internal and external
Finding innovative and efficient solutions
You have a Master’s degree in a (electro-)mechanical engineering field or Naval Architecture
Good proactive communication skills in English
Hands-on mentality and team player
Open to continuous learning and expanding your knowledge and experience on multiple disciplines
Experience with 3D modeling and CAD software like Inventor and Autocad
Experience in steel construction or ship repair and maintenance
Practical manufacturing design experience, where you apply tolerances and work sequence, is a plus
Experience with FEM software like Ansys is a plus
Experience with Classification Society plan approval is a plus
Experience with interpreting and applying industry standards, norms and regulations is a plus
Open to travel abroad occasionally
