The Opportunity:
For our Global Diagnostics Customer Experience & Solution Design Chapter (DIA CXSD), we are looking for a motivated Design Lead, who is experienced in managing and connecting across several design projects and is passionate to contribute to the transformation of user and customer experience in healthcare. In this exciting role, you will have the opportunity to bring in your design management, design and research expertise as well as to prove your leadership and solution/CX mindset.
Additionally, Design Leads shape and manage Design Operations capabilities, support strategic direction and evolving needs within the chapter.
Key Roles & Responsibilities:
Set project design scope, timeline, and key milestones, acting as the liaison between the business, R&D and design
Supervise the delivery across multiple project teams, conducting periodic alignment meetings with the teams, and maintaining a close relationship with business and R&D
Lead the team to synthesize insights and map CX/solution/product opportunities
Apply systems thinking and understand technical architectures and cross-platform data/workflow dependencies
Build rapport, emanate confidence, and inspire when advising business, R&D and design teams
Incorporate business objectives alongside customer and user needs into the design process throughout the work
Who You Are:
Minimum 5+ years of relevant experience with a Bachelor’s degree in Design (medical background a plus)
Inspiring, hands-on leader with a strong track record in design delivery, operations, and team management
Proven expertise in healthcare product and service design, including research and insights analysis
Experience successfully bringing products or services to market
Familiar with highly regulated environments (e.g., Pharmaceuticals, Medical Devices, IVD)Strong ability to influence within complex, matrixed organizations
Confident engaging and collaborating with diverse stakeholders
Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English
Location: This position is based in Tucson, AZ, with the possibility of considering remote candidates.

The expected salary range for this position based on the primary location of Tucson, AZ is $114,400 - $212,400. Actual pay will be determined based on experience, qualifications, geographic location, and other job-related factors permitted by law. A discretionary annual bonus may be available based on individual and Company performance. This position also qualifies for the benefits detailed at the link provided below.
