Job Summary
We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Fire Protection Estimation Engineer to join our team. The candidate will be responsible for reviewing tender documents, preparing cost estimates, coordinating with clients and internal teams, and ensuring compliance with applicable fire and life safety standards.
Key ResponsibilitiesReview tender documents, drawings, and technical specifications.
Read and interpret two-dimensional drawings in AutoCAD and PDF formats.
Prepare detailed Bills of Quantities (BOQ) for fire protection systems.
Estimate material costs and installation labor charges for projects.
Coordinate with design and technical teams to clarify project requirements and prepare competitive quotations.
Communicate with clients to obtain missing information and technical details required for estimation.
Ensure compliance with project specifications, NFPA standards, UAE Fire & Life Safety Code, and Civil Defense requirements.
Analyze project requirements and provide accurate cost proposals within deadlines.

Bachelor's Degree or Diploma in Mechanical Engineering, Fire Protection Engineering, or a related field.
2–4 years of experience in fire protection estimation or a related field.
Proficiency in AutoCAD and Microsoft Office applications.
Strong analytical, communication, and coordination skills.
Ability to work independently and meet project deadlines.
Experience in UAE fire protection projects.
Knowledge of local authority approval requirements.
Strong understanding of cost estimation and tendering processes.
Skills Required
- Bachelor's Degree or Diploma in Mechanical Engineering, Fire Protection Engineering, or related field
- 2-4 years of experience in fire protection estimation or related field
- Proficiency in AutoCAD and ability to read 2D drawings (AutoCAD and PDF)
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications
- Knowledge of NFPA codes and standards
- Knowledge of UAE Fire & Life Safety Code
- Familiarity with Fire Sprinkler, Firefighting, FM-200, Fire Alarm, Voice Evacuation, and Emergency Lighting systems
- Strong analytical, communication, and coordination skills
- Ability to work independently and meet project deadlines
- Familiarity with Civil Defense regulations
- Experience in UAE fire protection projects
