- Develop detailed 3D models and 2D drawings / part lists using Autodesk Inventor and AutoCAD.
- Ensure proper dimensioning and annotation on technical drawings.
- Apply proper constraints on drawings.
- Manage and work effectively with large assembly models.
- Utilize standard components such as shackles and flanges from 3D libraries.
- Reference and incorporate standard components (e.g., customary pipes and materials) from industry tables and databases.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure design accuracy and manufacturability.
- Follow-up on archiving of drawings in internal vault.
- Perform Finite Element Method (FEM) calculations to validate design integrity—experience in this area is considered an advantage.
- Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field.
- Proven relevant experience of 5-8 years.
- Proficiency in Autodesk Inventor and AutoCAD for 3D modeling and 2D drafting.
- Strong understanding of proper dimensioning standards on technical drawings.
- Experience handling large assembly models.
- Familiarity with standard component libraries and industry standard tables.
- Basic knowledge or experience in FEM calculations is a plus.
