Description
The Design Engineer III supports the NSWC Crane Model-Based Engineering Assessment Division (Code MXM) on the MXM EMSO effort, executing assigned Technical Instructions under Government technical direction in support of the RDT&E, mission engineering, modeling and simulation, and Fleet-support tasking defined in the SOW/PWS. The position requires 7 years of professional experience in mechanical, structural or electrical/electronic design. The Design Engineer III performs assigned work in accordance with Team quality, configuration-management, and security requirements.

· 7+ years experience in mechanical, structural, or electrical/electronic processes.
· TS/SCI eligibility preferred.
Requirements
· Bachelor's level degree in an Engineering discipline or Industrial Design.
· 7 years of professional experience in mechanical, structural or electrical/electronic design.
· Active DoD SECRET security clearance (or interim) required and must be maintained.
· Required work location: NSWCCR / Contractor Facility.
