Using a virtual platform is one of the easiest and fastest ways to boot up software code early in the product development process. To meet those customers’ needs, the System Architecture team in Cadence Compute System Group (CSG) is seeking experienced engineer to lead this virtual platform development effort.
The members of the System Architecture team are highly experienced and knowledgeable experts in their respective fields. In this role, you will work closely with CSG development engineering also. Your responsibilities will include working on virtual platform definition and releases, developing collateral and examples, and providing deep technical support for the customer support teams.
The following is the expected from the candidates:
- Lead the activity of virtual platform definition, which will be used for early SW development for the customer.
- Facing customers and defining the spec from the customer’s requirement
- Develop the model and integrate with other models or infrastructure components, testing, and debug.
- Work closely with architecture, RTL design, design verification, emulation, and software teams to build, debug, and deploy your models
- Drive model and modeling infrastructure performance improvements to help our models scale
Required Skill/Experience
- Experience in developing and using functional models for SW development
- Good understanding of embedded SW running on both bare metal and Linux
- Strong programming concepts: C++, SystemC/Transaction Level Modeling (TLM)
- In depth understanding of SoC architecture
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
- Ability to work in teams and to collaborate with colleagues in other groups and sites
