Position Title: Deposit Operations Representative
This role will require being available for on-site work within the Isabella Bank footprint with a potential to work hybrid 2 days of the week after the training period.
Reports To: Deposit Operations Department Manager
General Purpose: Provides support to external and internal customers on questions and inquiries related to deposit accounts, deposit transactions, products, and customer information.
Responsibilities:
- Maintain a high level of knowledge and technical understanding regarding our deposit products including all features and benefits, fees, and disclosures.
- Process requests and provide support to internal and external customers regarding new/existing deposit products in a professional and timely manner.
- Implement and have a strong understanding of Silverlake parameters including rate changes to deposit products, fees, and account requirements.
- Process and reconcile transaction processing and adjustments including mobile deposit, unposted, returns, etc.
- Give backup support and processing for the Fraud Specialists as needed.
- Provide exceptional internal and external customer service in a professional manner including but not limited to requests via phone calls, workflows, forms, and emails.
- Understand and comply with bank policy and procedures, laws, regulations and job duties.
- Provide research and synergy expertise to support customer needs or claims.
- Maintain and process the Online Account Opening platform and applications.
- Additional duties as assigned.
Education/Experience
- High school diploma required
- Minimum of 1 year of banking experience preferred
- Basic knowledge of banking products and services; CD’s & IRA knowledge preferred
- Basic knowledge of Silverlake/Xperience, Image Centre, Workflow, Synergy, Merge Docs preferred

- Strong written and verbal communication skills with a demonstrated ability to communicate effectively with internal and external customers through many delivery channels.
- Strong organizational, time management and problem-solving skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office software and other analysis tools.
- Ability to apply analytical thinking through understanding deposit products, transaction processing, and bank procedures.
- Handle fast paced environment while still delivering great customer service.
