The Opportunity:

CACI is seeking a Senior-level Deployment Manager for the Global Mission Operations Support (GMOS) contract, supporting the Department of State. This role offers a unique opportunity to enhance national security through advanced IT solutions. You will collaborate with experienced professionals in an innovative environment, guiding a high-performing team to deliver excellence. The GMOS contract aims to provide world-class IT support by modernizing and maintaining applications and infrastructure using an integrated IT Service Management approach. Responsibilities:

  • Leads successful, efficient, and timely execution of physical deployment and installation activities for hardware and software upgrades across all worldwide Consular facilities

  • Provides comprehensive trip schedules for Government approval ensuring adherence to ten-day advance requirement and coordinates deviations with COR or GTM

  • Leads coordination of logistics with other functional contract elements including shipping and receiving, deployment, and training across multiple simultaneous deployments

  • Delivers comprehensive deployment tracking reports for post self-installs and installation team activities ensuring visibility

  • Manage installation and upgrade schedules with weekly updates ensuring accuracy and completeness

  • Provides additional resources including temporary specialized teams (Tiger teams) as needed to respond to special projects and surges in deployment support

  • Develop comprehensive project plans and schedules for all special projects

  • Possesses and applies a comprehensive knowledge across key tasks and high impact assignments, plans and leads major technical assignments, and functions as a technical expert across multiple project assignments; may supervise others

Qualifications:

Required –

  • BA/BS degree and 8+ years of related experience; additional relevant experience may be considered in lieu of degree requirements

  • Active Secret clearance

  • Demonstrated experience managing complex, enterprise-scale IT deployments, installations, upgrades, or technology refresh initiatives across multiple locations and environments

  • Experience developing and managing integrated deployment plans, schedules, milestones, dependencies, and resource requirements across multiple concurrent deployment activities

  • Proven experience coordinating cross-functional deployment activities involving technical teams, logistics, shipping and receiving, training, operations, and other program stakeholders

  • Experience managing hardware and software deployments, including installation planning, site readiness, implementation coordination, deployment tracking, and post-deployment activities

  • Demonstrated ability to identify and mitigate deployment risks, resolve scheduling and logistical challenges, and adapt deployment strategies to changing operational or mission requirements

  • Experience developing deployment metrics, status reports, dashboards, and executive-level reporting to provide visibility into deployment progress, risks, issues, and performance

  • Experience with IT Service Management (ITSM) tools, methodologies, and processes supporting enterprise technology deployment and operational environments

  • Strong leadership and stakeholder management skills with demonstrated ability to coordinate technical teams and communicate effectively with senior program and Government stakeholders

Pay Range:

There are a host of factors that can influence final salary including, but not limited to, geographic location, Federal Government contract labor categories and contract wage rates, relevant prior work experience, specific skills and competencies, education, and certifications. The proposed salary range for this position is:

$84,900 - $178,400
