About you:  

Access Managed Services (AMS) are seeking an experienced and competent MSP Deployment Engineer to join our team to provide technical expertise across a range of customer projects. From Microsoft 365 to Virtual Desktops deployments, LAN and Firewall upgrades and software installs you will add to our pool of knowledge and deliver fantastic results for our clients. As a Deployment Engineer, you will report into the Head of Customer Delivery and Onboarding delivering projects end-to-end, inclusive of discovery, design, implementation, configuration, testing, documentation and fully supporting the process of acceptance into service.

As a Deployment Engineer, you will be playing a vital role within the Projects department to ensure the successful execution of the Company’s business mission. You will deliver IT projects ensuring clients are satisfied and their expectations are met. You will have strong customer facing skills and will be working across the project lifecycle, onboarding clients ensuring they are satisfied with everything Access deliver. You will be a dynamic individual who can manage their own workload, understand customer communication and deliver a quality service. You must have good inter-personal skills, well organised and practical, with a logical analytical approach to problem solving.

 

Day-to-day, you will:  

• Project Implementation & Client Management - Deliver technical solutions to clients, manage customer relationships throughout project lifecycles, and ensure high-quality customer-centric communication whilst maintaining satisfaction standards

• Solution Design & Technical Leadership - Provide technical expertise in designing customer solutions, lead technical aspects of implementations, and develop solution requirements with accurate risk assessments and project planning

• System Configuration & Deployment - Execute customer deliverables using specified technologies, implement technical solutions, and prepare/validate equipment configurations for new installations, upgrades, and migrations

• Issue Resolution & Escalation Support - Research, diagnose and troubleshoot system issues, serve as escalation point for 3rd line Managed Services team, and follow standard delivery processes for proper issue escalation

Your skills and experiences might also include:   

• Managed Services & Project Delivery - Previous experience in managed service environments with IT project delivery experience, working to ITIL standards including Change Management, and mentoring team members

• Citrix & Virtualisation Expertise - Extensive knowledge of Citrix VDI, Citrix Cloud, DaaS, VMware vSphere/vCentre, and Citrix VaaD solutions including Machine Creation Services, Provisioning Services, and NetScaler

• Microsoft Technologies Proficiency - Experience with Windows Server (2012R2-2022), Exchange Server, Active Directory, Office 365, Azure AD, Intune, SQL Server, and Microsoft Azure IaaS technologies including migrations and security configurations

• Network & Security Infrastructure - Knowledge of firewall technologies (SonicWall, WatchGuard, Cisco Meraki), networking protocols (TCP/IP, VPN, DHCP, DNS), backup solutions (Cove, Zerto), and email security platforms (Defender for Office 365, Mimecast)
