About the Role:

We are seeking a Deployment Engineer to join our growing team. In this role, you will be responsible for deploying our MES framework in customer environments worldwide. This includes the setup of virtual machines through ISO installations on Hyper-V and VMware infrastructures, as well as the configuration of Kubernetes distributions on-premises or in cloud environments.

You will act as a technical expert and trusted advisor, working closely with customers throughout the deployment process. Strong communication skills in English are essential to effectively interact with international stakeholders and ensure customer satisfaction.


Requirements

Key Responsibilities

    • Review installation pre-conditions - Review installation pre-conditions for apps and MES environments, identifying risks early and preventing blockers before execution.
    • Lead remote installations - Execute smooth, remote installations of applications and MES environments, aligning closely with customers to guarantee seamless setup.
    • Troubleshoot deployment issues - Dive deep into deployment challenges by analyzing logs, containers, and system events-resolving issues swiftly during or after installations.
    • Provide infrastructure consulting - Provide expert consulting on infrastructure and environment-related questions, clarifying responsibilities and reducing risks for teams and customers.
    • Collaborate Across the Ecosystem - Engage with colleagues, partners, and customers through tickets, email, and meetings, fostering productive collaboration in both synchronous and asynchronous settings.
    • Drive Continuous Improvement - Document lessons learned, corrective/preventive actions, and contribute to evolving best practices and a growing knowledge base

Requirements

    • Solid knowledge of Docker and Kubernetes/OpenShift for deployment and troubleshooting.
    • Experience with Linux (networking, volumes, logs, services).
    • Hands-on experience with VMware or Hyper-V (VM setup, configuration, snapshots).
    • Problem-solving mindset - strong investigative skills with a log-oriented approach, able to troubleshoot independently and effectively resolve issues beyond standard workflows.
    • Excellent English skills - spoken and written.
    • Time management, organization and prioritization.
    • Attention to detail - thorough in work carried out.
    • Great interpersonal and communication skills.
    • Initiative – seeking continuous improvement and implementing best practice in technology environment

What we consider a plus (not mandatory)

  • Knowledge of Kafka and ClickHouse.
  • Manufacturing industry business domain knowledge (e.g. Semiconductor, Electronics, Medical Devices or Industrial Equipment manufacturing).
  • Experience with SQL Server.
  • Knowledge and/or Experience with the ITIL framework.
  • Exposure to data platforms for operational reporting and analytics.
