Depalletizer Operator

Shift: This role is 2nd Shift, 2:15 PM-10:45 PM

Hourly Rate: $19.52 an hour + $$0.25 shift differential

Conagra Brands - Imlay City, Michigan, home of Vlasic, is looking to add a Depalletize Operator to our team to help us meet the demands of our customers. You will work onsite at our Imlay City, Michigan, reporting to the Production Lead and Team Lead.

Job Duties:

In the De-Palletizer Operator role, you will manage the operation and setup of the depalletizing machines for proper production run. You will be responsible for starting and restarting the machines and clearing misfeeds.

Job Responsibilities:

• You will operate the Depal equipment.

• Remove banding from incoming glass loads and feed into recycler.

• You will coordinate changeovers with the production department.

• You will administer proper lockout tagout (LOTO) procedures.

• Ensure machine and surrounding area is kept neat and sanitary.

• You will understand written and verbal instructions.

• You will effectively communicate with your co-workers, Production Lead, QA, and Team Lead.

• Adapt to changing situations.

• Train employees as needed.

• Complete all paperwork following industry standard.

• You will maintain an acceptable attendance record.

• You can read and interpret a variety of instructions/documents such as; safety rules, operating instructions, maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals.

• Ensure actions remain consistent with plant safety goals and procedures.

• You will assume other responsibilities relevant to your role.
