The Role
We’re looking for a Demand Planning & S&OP Excellence Manager to lead our forecasting and planning transformation — enabling world-class customer service and operational performance.

What you’ll do
As our Demand Planning & S&OP Excellence Manager, you will be the driving force behind accurate forecasting, demand insights, and S&OP maturity. You will lead a team of Demand Planners and S&OP Excellence & Inventory Specialists, combining analytical expertise with process leadership to create a best-in-class planning function.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Leadership & Team Development: Lead, coach, and develop your team to deliver best-in-class forecasting accuracy and planning capability.
  • Forecasting & Demand Insights: Oversee statistical forecasting, SKU segmentation, and the integration of market intelligence into demand plans to anticipate customer needs and market shifts.
  • S&OP Development & Governance: Drive continuous improvement of the S&OP process, ensuring cross-functional alignment, transparency, and fact-based decision-making with seamless collaboration across Supply Chain, Operations and Sales.

  • Planning Performance & Reporting: Track and report on forecast accuracy, demand variability, and S&OP effectiveness, implementing corrective actions where needed.
  • Inventory Management: Oversee inventory policies, segmentation, and KPIs to balance service, working capital, and obsolescence.
  • Strategic Contribution: Translate demand signals into actionable insights for senior management, balancing analytical rigor with commercial impact.
  • Cross-Functional Collaboration: Partner with key stakeholders to ensure demand plans align with service levels, production, and financial targets.
  • Continuous Improvement: Champion best practices in demand planning, embedding a culture of ongoing improvement in forecasting, analytics, and cross-functional collaboration.

Location

This position is based in Jonsered. We offer a hybrid working model with at least 50% in office.

What you’ll bring
You are an experienced leader in demand planning and S&OP with a track record of improving forecasting processes, accuracy, and business outcomes in a complex or global environment.

You also have:

  • Proven success managing demand planning teams and elevating S&OP maturity.
  • Strong background in statistical forecasting, SKU segmentation, and integrating market intelligence with planning processes.
  • Hands-on experience with planning systems (ideally Logility) and BI/analytical tools.
  • Advanced analytical, strategic thinking, and stakeholder management skills.
  • Business acumen and a passion for continuous improvement.
