The opportunity
As our Demand Planner, you will lead and govern the Integrated Business Planning (IBP) cycle across Pernod Ricard Pacific for both the Market Company (Australia and New Zealand) and Global Travel Retail (GTR). You will shape and execute robust demand plans that optimise inventory, reduce stockouts, improve forecast accuracy, and support high levels of customer satisfaction.
Reporting to the Integrated Operations Director – Pacific, you will play a key role in driving strategic alignment between Supply Chain, Commercial, Finance, Marketing, and key customers. This role requires strong analytical capability, commercial judgement, and the ability to influence across functions to deliver forward-looking supply chain strategies.
This role is ideal for someone with demand planning, commercial, operations, or finance experience, who is highly analytical, collaborative, and confident working in a fast-paced environment.
Tasks & Responsibilities
Lead the monthly IBP demand planning cycle, including demand reviews, forecast sign-off, and reporting.
Build and maintain rolling 24-month demand forecasts in Anaplan, incorporating innovation, NPD, supply risks, and market intelligence.
Partner with Sales, Marketing, Finance, and Supply Chain to manage forecast accuracy, product lifecycle planning, and supply exceptions.
Manage customer collaboration forums, including demand assumption alignment, out-of-stock mitigation, and allocation processes.
Monitor forecast accuracy, identify key demand variances, and recommend actions to improve planning performance.
What you will bring to the role
3–5 years’ experience in demand planning, supply planning, or integrated business planning (IBP)
Background in supply chain, commercial, operations, or finance
Strong forecasting, data analysis, and problem-solving skills
Advanced Microsoft Excel skills and experience working with large data sets
Experience with Anaplan, ERP systems, or FMCG / wine and spirits is preferred
