About the Role
We are looking for a skilled and proactive Regional Demand Planner to join our team and play a key role in shaping our forecasting and planning processes within the Health & Medical category. This role is central to ensuring accurate demand planning through data analysis, market insights, and cross-functional collaboration. You will act as the local interface to the central demand planning hub and contribute to the execution of global processes.
This position is based at our site in Dunstable or Willerby and follows a hybrid working model: three days in the office and two days working from home.
What You Will Do
- Analyze historical demand and filter out outliers to identify the most suitable statistical forecasting algorithm
- Enrich base forecasts with timely and accurate market intelligence
- Execute the local S&OP process and facilitate monthly Demand Review Meetings
- Serve as the local contact for the central demand planning hub, aligning with global processes
- Generate new product forecasts using substitution, like-modelling, and scenario planning techniques in collaboration with Marketing and Category Management
- Understand and assess the impact of customer buying patterns
- Communicate effectively with customers on operational matters
- Provide immediate support during ERP go-live through central hyper-care coordination
Who You Are
- Demonstrated experience in demand planning, with a strong analytical mindset ideally with experience within the medical sector
- Comfortable working with ERP and demand planning systems
- Skilled in data analysis, scenario planning, and continuous improvement
- Effective communicator with strong collaboration and time management skills
- Adaptable and responsive to changing priorities and business needs
- Fluent in English; additional language skills are a plus
- Able to work constructively in cross-functional teams and resolve conflicts professionally
