The Role

Purpose of Position

  • We are seeking a Demand Planner to join our Product Lifecycle Management team. The chosen candidate will support in managing our inventory health by overseeing inventory allocation across our global network of retail stores, online marketplaces, and distribution centers. This role will help ensure optimal inventory levels, minimize stockouts, and maximize customer satisfaction.

Job Description

  • Collaborate with country, retail, and marketplace teams to plan material replenishment to regional hubs and retail stores.
  • Manage and report on material shortages and excesses, including KPIs and action plans.
  • Validate forecasts and assess their accuracy.
  • Support data analysis, reporting, and presentations.
  • Work with the central procurement team to track deliveries, due dates, restock dates, and pull-in/push-out plans.
  • Collaborate with product development and procurement teams on new product introductions and product phase-outs.
  • Drive continuous improvement in material allocation procedures, systems, and policies.
  • Enhance information flow and transparency.
  • Perform data and root cause analysis and implement corrective actions.
  • Assist with ad hoc projects and new initiatives.

Requirement

  • Bachelor's Degree in Supply Chain Management, Operations Management, Business Analytics, or a related field.
  • 3+ years experience in Retail Stock Allocation, Demand Planning, Inventory Management, or Product Management - FMCG industry and Retail experience preferred.
  • Experience with ERP & MRP systems.
  • Proven experience with Business Intelligence Tools - Tableau experience is preferred.
  • Advanced Excel skill (e.g. Macro and VBA etc.)
  • Strong numerical and analytical skills.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills in both English and Chinese.
  • Ability to clearly and effectively convey complex information.
  • Passion for production and operations.
  • Self-motivated, agile, and comfortable working in a dynamic environment.
