You will develop the 0-24-month IBP forecast by brand and at the stock keeping unit (SKU) level. You will coordinate, challenge and influence building block with input from sales, marketing and other partners. In addition, you will review the disaggregated short-term demand plan, which includes SKU/location mix and weekly pacing. Finally, you will provide the finalized detailed demand plan by SKU to supply planners and adjust it based on feedback from supply planners or commercial teams.
How you will contribute
You will:
- Contribute to the demand management cycle of the integrated business planning (IBP) process for your categories and to strategy and structure discussions
- Liaise with the commercial and operational teams and develop ways to continuously improve communication between the functions to support the delivery of the business KPIs for their families
- Manage forecast compilation process, which includes owning the short-term weekly plan and the long-term forecast (three or more months)
- Interact with modelling team to generate statistical forecasting
- Participate in the integrated business planning process and manage the demand planning tool
- Perform root-cause analysis for continuous plan improvement for key service issues, forecast error and bias, and share output with appropriate leadership

What you need to know about this position:
You will oversee demand planning activities for assigned product families in your markets. You will also lead the process and lead interactions with cross-functional teams.
Main Tasks:
- Being the key interface between the commercial department (sales/trade/Mktg/RGM/Finance/Innovation) to build unrestricted sell out/sell in volume and supply planning (DRP) to confirm restricted volume.
- Lead the discussion of risks and opportunities in the IBP with key stakeholders (sales/trade/Supply).
- Lead with commercial team the build of plans to mitigate Woff impacts.
- Understand SFA/Bias main drivers and influence cross functional team to take actions to correct trends.
- Support of the implementation of commercial and Supply Chain projects that impacts the IBP process.
- Support NPI action plans to mitigate future risk of Woff.
- Support weekly Sales Outlook while leading S&OE Process
- Be a guardian of que quality of the assumptions that support the Business Drivers included in the plan.
- Collaborate with the modeling team to generate statistical forecasts and propose base trend adjustments.
- Lead the construction and analysis of consumption exercise (CEx) for market/Channels wiht Nielsen Data.
- Collaborate with sales and supply planning to manage potential availability issues and the impact of underconsumption.
- Lead the Commercial Alignment process for markets in the scope and guarantee sign off with cluster lead.
- Boost demand planning capacity for continuous improvement. Lead, train and develop a team of Demand Planners and other teams about IBP process.
Education / Certifications:
Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Business or related fields.
Job specific requirements:
- 3-5 year of experience in supply chain, economics, finance, logistics and commercial awareness in a fast moving consumer goods environment.
- Be willing to learn new ways of working and use new tools.
- Experience in leading demand planning and IBP or S&OP process.
- Advanced excel skills.
- Knowledge of SAP APO.
- Ability to form effective teams.
- Excellent problem-solving skills, analytical skills, and verbal and written communication skills
Work schedule:
Hybrid in Bogotá or Cali, Colombia.
