Right now, we are looking for a Demand Planner to join us in Range Area (RA) Home textiles & Rugs at IKEA of Sweden!

Job Description
As a Demand Planner you will be responsible for predicting the customers' buying behaviors and demand for IKEA products on a global level.
You will utilize your commercial, analytical and communicative skills to improve our forecast from the start of product development all the way to the customer. In this role, you will contribute to how home furnishing products are developed to meet our customers and create a better everyday life for the many people. You will belong to a team with a value driven culture where Togetherness, Simplicity, Cost-consciousness and Different with a meaning are key components in creating the IKEA spirit. The Supply chain team in RA Home textiles & Rugs is a diverse and inclusive team, where each co-worker is valued and respected.
In this assignment, you will:
Act as the link between Sales and Supply, turning in-depth analysis of our sales history into an accurate forecast that is used to secure the availability of our products to our customers around the globe. In addition, you are the Supply Organisation’s speaking partner with the Retail organisation, you will turn global, regional and national sales plans into product level forecasts by predicting when, where and in what quantities the products will be sold in the different Customer Meeting Points. You will contribute to building a smarter, efficient and more cost-effective supply chain, enabling availability at the lowest possible cost!

Qualifications
To succeed in this role you

have deep experience from supply chain and/or from the retail environment on a country or global level

have the ability to work with a holistic perspective, through the whole value chain from supplier to customer, as well as the capability to be in the fine details

take big responsibility to make things happen both individually, in the team as well as function and collaborate across organisations

are open-minded and flexible in ad-hoc situations

have excellent communicative skills are fluent in English

interest and deep experience in analyzing current & historical data
