As a Market Demand Planner for BeLux, you will be responsible for building the most accurate and realistic market forecasts, acting as a backbone for the business to improve customer satisfaction, drive profitability, and enable a lean end-to-end supply chain.

You will work closely with cross-functional stakeholders to deeply understand the market, enrich demand signals from the regional Centre of Excellence (CoE), and challenge forecasts using strong data-driven insights.

Your Key Responsibilities

Demand Forecasting

  • Enrich local forecasts with market insights, focusing on the short-term horizon (0–4 months)
  • Collaborate with sales, marketing, and finance teams to refine forecasts
  • Analyze market volumes and adjust forecasts by channel where necessary
  • Ensure robust demand plans for business unit leadership reviews
  • Track KPIs and drive continuous improvement initiatives
  • Support Portfolio & Product Lifecycle Management with local insights
  • Maintain high-quality historical data to improve predictive analytics

Collaboration & Communication

  • Act as the voice of demand within the business unit
  • Work closely with supply chain, production, marketing, and sales teams
  • Lead demand reviews within the S&OP (Sales & Operations Planning) process
  • Communicate forecast changes, risks, and opportunities clearly
  • Coordinate with CoE demand planners on exceptions and major impacts

Promotion & Event Planning

  • Integrate promotions, campaigns, and market events into forecasts
  • Measure and analyze uplift from promotional activities
About You

You bring experience in forecasting, supply chain, and business partnering, along with strong analytical capabilities and expertise in data tools.

Skills & Experience

Analytical Thinking

  • Ability to interpret complex datasets
  • Make data-driven decisions

Demand Planning Expertise

  • Knowledge of forecasting methods (e.g., time series, regression)
  • Experience with tools such as SAP BI, IBP, or HANA

Business Acumen

  • Understanding of supply chain and inventory principles
  • Knowledge of sales, marketing, and financial drivers of demand

Collaboration & Communication

  • Strong cross-functional collaboration skills
  • Excellent communication and presentation abilities
  • Ability to influence stakeholders and build consensus

Problem-Solving & Adaptability

  • Quick decision-making in dynamic environments
  • Flexibility to adjust forecasts based on new inputs
  • Continuous improvement mindset

Technical Skills

  • Advanced Excel
  • Experience with ERP systems and visualization tools (e.g., Power BI)

  • Fluent English (required)
