The opportunity
Hitachi Energy is seeking a Demand Management Process Leader for Engineering Platforms of Transformers Business Unit. This role is globally overseeing the process of software requirements management across multiple organizations. You will collaborate with business stakeholders, architects, quality and development teams to streamline fulfilment of requirements in line with business and IT strategy.
How you’ll make an impact:
- Establish and execute demand management process for Engineering Platforms
- Orchestrate process stakeholders engagement
- Discover, analyze, understand and interpret the needs and demands of stakeholders and translate to actionable requirements for developers
- Ensure effective communication among stakeholders
- Bridge internal customers and development teams to support demands execution according to agreed success criteria
- Implement tools supporting demand management process execution
- Maintain demands register and ensure requirements traceability
- Manage demand management team activities
- Mentor demand management team in requirements management
- Drive process improvement
- Measure process efficiency, apply relevant metrics

Background / Experience:
- Master’s or bachelor’s degree in information technology, quality or engineering or equivalent work experience
- Knowledge of engineering, particularly in the field of electrical and mechanical engineering, is a plus
- Knowledge of methodologies and tools for requirements engineering
- Experience in working with agile methods
- Experience in requirements analysis
- Business analysis certification is a plus
- Project management experience
- Experience in working with customers and managing customer engagement
- Working with development teams
- Working with technical experts
- Fluent spoken and written English
