Catalyx is seeking an experienced DeltaV Automation Engineer. This role will provide hands-on DeltaV expertise during the implementation of a new Distributed Control System (DCS) and the integration of multiple new bioreactors into the manufacturing environment.

Key Responsibilities

·       Provide technical expertise for the implementation and startup of a new Emerson DeltaV DCS at the manufacturing site.

·       Support the installation, configuration, and commissioning of approximately 10–12 new bioreactors integrated into DeltaV.

·       Partner with internal automation, engineering, and manufacturing teams throughout the Phase III construction project.

·       Review and support DeltaV configuration, control modules, graphics, alarms, and system functionality.

·       Assist with commissioning, qualification, startup, and troubleshooting activities.

·       Collaborate with the site's system integration partner while providing additional DeltaV subject matter expertise to the internal team.

·       Identify and resolve automation issues to ensure project milestones and startup schedules are met.

·       Ensure all automation activities comply with GMP requirements and company quality standards.

·       Document system changes and support testing activities as needed.



Requirements

·       5+ years of hands-on Emerson DeltaV experience in pharmaceutical, biotechnology, or other regulated manufacturing environments.

·       Experience with DeltaV system configuration, commissioning, startup, and troubleshooting.

·       Strong understanding of GMP manufacturing and validation practices.

·       Experience integrating process equipment into DeltaV, preferably including bioreactors or upstream processing equipment.

·       Ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional engineering and operations teams.
