Our Lead Process Control and Automation Engineer -DeltaV works on developing and executing complex process control system integration projects.
On a typical day you will:
- Review software and documentation
- Review and lead the execution of test plans
- Review and prepare project proposals for clients
- Lead design discussions and decisions
- Interface with customers during technical discussions
- Coordinate with the Project manager for project schedule, task status, and resource usage.
We are looking for someone with a solid background in Engineering (Electrical/Mechanical/Chemical preferred) and at least 7 or more years of overall technical experience in automation with at least three years programming/ configuring DeltaV. Strong experience with technical management of projects. Experience with client service management, working in a process-based industry, system integration and consulting is a plus. Some experience supporting peer development through mentoring and coaching activities.
QualificationsRequired skills:
- DeltaV hardware (servers, switches, controllers, I/O cards)
- S88 and batch design (all aspects: phases, operations, unit procedures, procedures)
- Control module and HMI design
Knowledge of the below skills would be a plus
- DeltaV System Administration/Architecture
- Virtualized (Hyper-V) DeltaV Environments
- Modbus, Ethernet/IP and/or OPC/UA integration with DeltaV (either through VIM, Ethernet I/O Card (EIOC) or software platform like KepServer
- Integration with third party MES/ERP systems
- Continuous/Batch Historians
- Syncade MES
- Batch Reporting
