We are seeking a passionate and experienced Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion (DEI) Implementation Specialist to engage with our client’s Senior Government Executives and drive their DEI initiatives across the organization.

Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement comprehensive DEI strategies and programs that align with the client’s mission and values.
  • Engage with senior government executives/leaders to provide insights, recommendations, and support on DEI matters.
  • Oversee the development of briefings, reports, and newsletters to communicate DEI progress, goals, and achievements to internal and external stakeholders.
  • Collaborate with various departments to integrate DEI principles into all aspects of the organization, including recruitment, retention, performance management, and employee engagement.
  • Conduct assessments and analyze data to identify areas of improvement and track the effectiveness of DEI initiatives.
  • Facilitate meetings on DEI topics to educate employees and promote awareness.
  • Establish and maintain relationships with external DEI organizations, networks, and communities to stay informed about best practices and emerging trends.
  • Act as a mentor and resource for employee resource groups (ERGs) and support their initiatives and activities.
  • Lead and participate in DEI-related events, panels, and discussions to represent the client and share knowledge.
  • Stay updated with legal and regulatory requirements related to diversity, equity, and inclusion.

Required Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in human resources, Organizational Development, Sociology, Psychology, or a related field.
  • 5+ years of experience developing and implementing DEI programs and initiatives.
  • Deep understanding of DEI principles, best practices, and current trends.
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret data and create actionable plans.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to influence and engage stakeholders at all levels.
  • Experience in facilitating training sessions and workshops on DEI topics.
  • Demonstrated ability to lead and inspire change in a diverse and dynamic environment.
  • Strong organizational and project management skills.
  • Experience in developing briefings, reports, and newsletters for executive audiences.
  • Commitment to continuous learning and staying informed about DEI developments and innovations.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Master's degree in human resources, Organizational Development, Sociology, Psychology, or a related field.
  • Experience in a similar role within a large, complex organization.
  • Certification in diversity and inclusion or related fields.
  • Experience with employee resource groups (ERGs) and affinity groups.

The salary range represents a general guideline; however, Steel Point Solutions considers a number of factors when determining base salary offers such as the scope and responsibilities of the position and the candidate's experience, education, skills and current market conditions.
