The Default Fees & Costs Coordinator, I is responsible for requesting, compiling and summarizing fees and costs per specific CIT request using various software; preparing and sending Reinstatement letters/quotes. Handling Rush requests via email. Perform all duties in accordance with the company’s policies and procedures, all US state and federal laws and regulations, wherein the company operates. The target pay range for this position is $18.50-$21.50/hr.
What you’ll do:
- Prioritize workflow and processing of CIT requests.
- Request and compile fees and costs via Tempo comtag or email and summarize in Fiserv.
- May help send reinstatement letters via the correct predetermined avenue once letter is verified for accuracy
- Ensure compliance deadlines are met.
- Ensure Investor/Insurer/state guidelines are followed
- Communicate with various law firms to gather required information needed for the outstanding fees/costs.
- Adhere to company and department policies and procedures.
- Follow established company guidelines to increase revenue and reduce losses.
- Understanding of the loan servicing default related documents preferred
- Working knowledge of Microsoft Suite of Applications (i.e. Word, Excel, Outlook, etc.)
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Attention to detail and strong organizational skills
- Ability to complete research within applicable systems to identify appropriate documentation to support invoicing.
- Ability to work in a fast paced/high production environment.
- Ability to work independently and organize workflow
What you’ll need:
- High school diploma or equivalent required; some college preferred.
- One (1) plus years’ general office/accounting experience preferred.
