Salary, based on experience and other qualifications: $21.16 - $36.05 per hour, with bonus potential
Roles & Responsibilities:
- Prepare, apply, and process all US and CN exception (non-auto posted) lockbox transactions, EDI, miscellaneous cash, manual and bank adjustments including scanning and attaching back up.
- Secures and organizes deduction backup from customers via website, email or by phone.
- Maintains electronic storage files which contain various support documents or templates needed to process deductions.
- Accurately matches authorized deductions to planned promotions, issues customer credit for valid claims and submit repayment for unauthorized claims.
- Responsible for researching and resolving all type of deductions in accordance with established policy and authorization limits.
- Collaborates with Deductions and Cash Application Analyst for data analysis, reporting and KPI related tasks.
- Keeps a reconciliation mindset for balance resolution and drives for completeness
- Escalates issues and errors timely. Acts in the best interest of Winland Foods in all matters
- Cross-train to support OTC in all areas as volumes requires
- Keeps manager informed of activities that may require attention.
- Supports projects as assigned.

Qualifications & Experience:
- Associate or bachelor’s degree in accounting or similar preferred
- Minimum of 1 year experience in a Deduction and Cash Application role
- Experience within the Consumer-Packaged Goods industry preferred
- Experience with SAP and Vistex preferred
- Demonstrated analytical skills
- Ability to think creatively and solve problems, using sound judgement
- Exceptional organizational skills with the ability to perform multiple tasks in a fast-paced dynamic work environment, meeting deadlines with accurate and detailed results
- Results driven with a focus on high performance, and attention to detail
- Excellent communication skills (formal and informal) with business acumen and ability to communicate with all levels of the organization, setting a tone of working in partnership and collaboration
- Strong MS Office skills (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and Teams)
- Occasional travel to business meetings may be required
