You will report to the Business Manager and work with other accountants in an on-site office environment.
Location: 960 Central AvenueAlbany, NY 12205
Compensation Range: $16.85-26.46, with a typical starting range of $20.00-25.00+. Actual pay offered may vary depending on experience, job-related knowledge, and physical location. Final compensation will be established through the interview process in accordance with applicable pay equity and transparency laws.
What You'll Do
- Submission of Service Contracts
- Submission of Warranty Contracts
- New car purchases and Dealer trades
- Record used car purchases
- Request and process lien payoffs
- Process cash receipts
- Regional check runs
- Process and payment of vendor invoices
- FTC reconciliation
- Accounting for manufacturer monies (parts, warranty, incentives, misc)
- Post to Intercompany accounts
- Other responsibilities as assigned
What You'll Bring
- 1+ year Accounting experience- familiar with COA, debits and credits
- Entry to mid-level Microsoft Excel, Office and computer skills
- High School Diploma (required)
- 1+ years of Auto Industry Experience
- Retail Sales or Customer Service (preferred)

Skills Required
- 1+ year accounting experience, familiar with chart of accounts, debits and credits
