About the role:

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Data Quality Manager to join our team. The ideal candidate for this role will have a demonstrated ability to work in a high-growth, fast-paced environment, using data to support database health that would intern scale to drive commercial results.

You should be passionate about data accuracy and integrity and possess a strong ability to turn data into strategic insights and recommendations. As a Data Quality Manager/Analyst, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the accuracy, consistency, and reliability of data. You will work closely with the Marketing IT team to identify data discrepancies, implement quality control measures, and optimize data quality processes. You will also be responsible for helping grow Gartner’s database of high quality contacts.

The ideal candidate will work with tools such SQL Server to process data, Power BI for data analysis and visualization and PowerPoint for presentations. 

What you will do:

  • Work with cross-functional teams to establish data quality standards and best practices.

  • Conduct root cause analysis to identify and evaluate data quality trends, contributing to the improvement of controls and reports.

  • Run data reconciliation periodically to ensure data accuracy and identify and resolve any discrepancies.

  • Collaborate with IT business partners to develop and implement new processes and procedures to enhance data quality.

  • Ensure reports are up-to-date, accurate, and reliable, using tools like Power BI or other reporting and data visualization platforms.

  • Review and optimize existing SQL code, building and maintaining a library of SQL Server code for efficient data processing and manipulation.

  • Provide technical expertise to manipulate and transform large datasets, translating analytical findings into actionable insights for Marketing stakeholders.

  • Develop and implement data quality metrics and KPIs to monitor and track data accuracy and integrity.

  • Develop data dashboards and visualizations to effectively communicate data quality insights and recommendations.

  • Support commercial growth by using 3rd party contact data acquisition tools (ZoomInfo, Lusha, etc.) to grow database in identified area of need 

  • Develop testing strategies to identify opportunities for further audience acquisition growth 

  • Develop data dashboards to effectively translate data into insights and business strategies

What you will need:

  • Bachelor's or master's degree preferred in a relevant field such as data analytics, computer science, or mathematics.

  • 3-5 years of experience in a data quality-focused role, with a strong understanding of data segmentation, data validation, and data quality assurance.

  • Proficiency in SQL and experience with SQL Server for data processing, manipulation, and optimization.

  • Familiarity with reporting and data visualization tools such as Power BI, Tableau, or similar platforms.

  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to identify data quality issues and implement effective solutions.

  • Excellent attention to detail and a commitment to data accuracy and integrity.

  • Strong communication skills, with the ability to translate complex data quality concepts

  • Experience using Eloqua or similar Marketing automation platforms to build segmentation a plus
