What We Need:
In this role, you will own the development, testing, and execution of direct marketing (direct mail, email, and SMS) campaigns in Unica marketing automation platform. As a Database Marketing Analyst, you will translate business rules and stakeholder requests into technical implementations, writing SQL, and building Unica flowcharts to select, suppress, and segment campaign audiences for multiple concurrent projects. This is a client-facing position, where you will create reports and present to client stakeholders on a regular basis, maintaining functional specifications, SOPs for various internal and external responsibilities. Finally, the DB Marketing Analyst will work in tandem with other Delve analysts in servicing a queue of AdHoc requests from the marketing operations organization of one of Delve’s largest clients.
What You Will Do:
- Build new campaign flowcharts in Unica Campaign to the specifications of the client, in support of daily, weekly, and monthly email, direct mail, and SMS campaigns.
- Update existing campaign logic with new testing requirements or segmentation rules.
- Utilize model scores from the Data Science team to improve campaign performance
- Assume accountability and ownership of assigned direct marketing campaigns form the build process, through deployment and measurement attribution.
- Develop and maintain quality control procedures for Unica campaign implementations, including SQL scrips to check your flowchart logic
- Work in collaboration with the other DB Marketing Analysts to achieve the very best results for the client
- Assist in the development and documentation of best practices for improving communication and collaboration within the team and the department
- Generate keycode files for segment attribution
- Troubleshoot and track changes in underlying DB data that impacts campaigns, report to DB host as needed

What You Bring:
- BA/BS in Marketing or related field
- Automation, 3+ years of recent hands-on experience managing direct marketing campaigns in Unica, including and writing SQL queries
- 4+ years experience with client-facing responsibilities (account management, weekly calls, monthly report presentations, etc.)
- Ability to organize and manage detailed work, as well as work independently and balance multiple tasks
- Strong interpersonal skills and problem-solving aptitude
- Results driven and client focused
- Strong experience in Excel, including pivot tables, chart-making, and manipulation of data sets
- Ability to multi-task across clients to ensure the proper executions of several plans simultaneously
- Ability to multi-task and work in a fast-pace, high-change environment
