The MIS team is seeking a motivated and highly qualified MS SQL Database developer who thrives in an environment of innovation and collaboration. As part of the development team, you will utilize your subject matter expertise of database structures and architecture to ensure optimum application performance for our award-winning software applications.
About The RoleIn this role as Database Engineer, you will:
- Design and develop high-performance database solutions for our software applications.
- Write/modify complex SQL queries, stored procedures, functions, and triggers to support data processing requirements.
- Optimize database performance by analyzing query execution plans and indexing strategies.
- Resolve database issues as they arise and help team members in troubleshooting TSQL code issues.
- Monitor database performance and proactively identify areas for improvement.
- Good to have SQL admin hands-on on SQL server.
- Recommend solutions by defining database physical structure and functional capabilities from initial design concept to final production deployment.
You are a fit for this position if your background includes:
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or related technical discipline is required
- 3+ years of relational database development in a high-availability production environment ,Strong demonstrated proficiency of T-SQL
- Experience developing database objects for web and desktop applications. Demonstrated ability to multi-task projects with competing demands in an effective and productive manner. Thorough understanding of Profiling, Performance Tuning and Optimization, using monitoring and troubleshooting tools to resolve database problems.
- Knowledge of indexes, index management, and statistic Strong knowledge of T-SQL programming language and MS SQL Server.
- Experience in optimizing database performance using tools such as SQL Profiler and Performance monitor.
- Familiarity with database security measures such as encryption, access control, and auditing.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills. Good communication and interpersonal skills. Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
