Role Description
- A technology-oriented developer is needed to join the Deal Life Cycle team within the IB Technology space, to assist with the implementation of our strategic trade booking platform to meet new strategic infra including Fundamental Review of the Trading Book and Stress Testing across all asset classes in the firm.
- You will be a developer with strong core application skills, and good exposure to concepts and/or technology across the broader spectrum.
- You need to be an excellent communicator and feel comfortable interacting with stakeholders at various levels within the organization in an empathic and considerate way.

Your key responsibilities
- You will be implementing new solutions to business requirements as a feature-team developer under SAFE (Scaled Agile methodology)
- You will be contributing to component-level solution design
- You will be helping to estimate and break down development tasks for planning
- You will help drive platform migration onto cloud
- Use broad systems knowledge to push extreme deployment and test automation
- You will be mentoring junior members of the team and helping to execute our training strategy
Your skills and experience
- Proficiency in data modelling, Postgresql, SQL (PL/SQL), Sybase , Oracle.
- Strong knowledge of Scripting skills (Python, Perl, shell)
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, both written and verbal
- Experience with Ansible, Puppet, git/stash, TeamCity/Jenkins, Jira, Confluence
- Experience working in an Agile setup, practicing Scrum or Kanban
Nice to haves
- Experience using Automation tool Control-M Workload
- Familiarity with Atlassian stack: Jira, Confluence, Bitbucket
- Helpful to have experience in a compiled language e.g. Java/C++
- Exposure to some of Hadoop, Scala, Impala, Spark, Kafka, Avro, Google Protocol Buffers
- Education : B.Tech/B.E./MCA
