Shelf Engine is searching for a talented Vice President of Partnerships to join our growing team. In this role, you will manage a team of Sellers and Customer Success Managers, working with multiple functions across the organization to grow our customer base. The goal is to help Shelf Engine add new grocery retailers onto the platform across North America. You’ll accomplish this by leading and growing one of the partnerships teams within a geographic territory. 

This position is based in Seattle, WA or remote. 

As a Vice President of Partnerships at Shelf Engine, you will: 

  • Manage a team responsible for selling the Shelf Engine solution at grocery retailers across the country. Team’s responsibilities also include managing the execution and expansion of existing accounts
  • Provide coaching and career development for team members
  • Support the team in effectively managing a sales pipeline, which may consist of multiple accounts at various stages of the sales process
  • In partnership with leadership, you will set sales goals, monitor the market, and provide detailed sales forecasting
  • Work closely with leadership to set the strategic vision for your team
  • Work collaboratively cross-functionally to contribute to business goals

What we are looking for in a candidate:

  • You embrace our company principles: make the first move, make better decisions, be furiously curious, commit and deliver, have empathy, invent solutions, be authentic
  • 10+ years selling into Grocery and/or CPG, including 3+ years managing a team of at least 5 employees
  • Strong analytical skills, with the ability to translate data into insights. 
  • Experience collaborating with C-level executives both internally and externally
  • You’re passionate about technology, love learning, using and discussing new tools, and you are aware of or eager to learn about EDI
  • Excellent communication skills, including the ability to listen effectively to customer needs and translate business needs to internal teams 
  • Fast learner who adapts quickly to challenging business landscapes. 
  • Passion for solving business challenges with technology and for being a part of a fast-growing RaaS (results-as-a-service) company
  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent professional experience

  • Competitive salary in the range of $240,000-$300,000 depending on skills and experience, which is a combination of base and variable. Base salary range: $140,000-$160,000.
