In this role as a Data Analyst 2, you will be a thought leader in developing innovative solutions to support platform migrations analytics. You will be responsible for cross training technical applications and programming code used to support the platform migrations process, with a focus on building business intelligence tools, conducting analysis to distinguish patterns and recognize trends, performing normalization operations and assuring data quality. You will develop an audit trail safety net, and cross train on the location paths, etc.
You'll enjoy the flexibility to telecommute* from anywhere within the U.S. as you take on some tough challenges.
Primary Responsibilities:

  • Designs, develops, tests, documents, and maintains database queries and reports
  • Works with customers to define and document additional requirements and efficiency innovations to enrich reporting capabilities
  • Develops systematic reporting processes and procedures to ensure timely delivery of daily, weekly, monthly, annual, and ad hoc reporting to management
  • Troubleshoots data integrity issues, analyzes data for completeness to meet business needs, and proposes documented solution recommendations
  • Transfers data into meaningful, professional and easy to understand formats for various audiences
  • With little direction, manages reporting and analysis elements on all business initiative projects

Required Qualification:

  • 1+ years of professional experience with Relational Database Management Systems (such as Oracle, Sybase, SQL Server)


Preferred Qualifications:

  • Undergraduate Degree
  • 1+ years of professional experience with source control (Git/GitHub/TFS)
  • 1+ years of professional experience performing Data Analytics and Reporting (such as SSIS/SSRS)
  • Experience with provider data within the Healthcare Industry
  • Experience working in Front/Backend of NDB, Cosmos, NICE, and CSP platforms

Colorado, Connecticut or Nevada Residents Only : The salary range for Colorado residents is $66,100 to $118,300. The salary range for Connecticut/Nevada residents is $72,800 to $129,900. Pay is based on several factors including but not limited to education, work experience, certifications, etc. In addition to your salary, UnitedHealth Group offers benefits such as, a comprehensive benefits package, incentive and recognition programs, equity stock purchase and 401k contribution (all benefits are subject to eligibility requirements).
