Overview
The Business Operations Analyst II will assist in the contractual and logistical management of bulk whole-loan purchases, servicing rights acquisition/sales, multiple securitization and jumbo sale transactions for the department. Key functions may include developing and tracking of key statistical information, developing interim automated solutions to assist various departments, developing exception reporting and creating automated routines. Additionally, the position will oversee all activities related to the administration of due diligence and valuation analysis in addition to various other department-related activities.
Job Description

  • Assist the department in completing routine (weekly/monthly/quarterly) reporting activities, including weekly market updates, trade status updates, and monthly/quarterly action items
  • Lead in the developing and performing of complex analysis and modeling
  • Develop ad-hoc reports, work with the applicable department management and provide context to reports
  • Assist business units with developing interim business tools to facilitate an increased level of efficiency
  • Draft policies and procedures for the different department roles and responsibilities
  • Prepare portfolio risk analysis to Investment Committee, including summaries of credit, compliance and servicing-related issues
  • Perform other related duties as required and assigned
  • Demonstrate behaviors which are aligned with the organization's desired culture and values

Ideal Candidate will have the following:

  • Intermediate knowledge of Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint)
  • Strong analytical skill set
  • Strong report building experience
  • Must be highly proficient in Excel and Word
  • Must be a team player with strong attention to detail and able to work independently
  • Proven track record at delivering timely and accurate information in a fast-paced environment
  • Excellent critical thinking, problem solving, mathematical skills and sound judgment
  • Financial Services and, if possible, mortgage industry experience preferred
  • Strong business acumen and ability to interface with executive management
