The Analyst, Risk and Platforms Governance will be responsible for the organization, administration, and management ofPayPal's global risk committee governance framework. PayPal's risk committee governance framework helps ensure senior management and the board of directors effectively execute their oversight responsibilities and helps ensure the Company is identifying, assessing, and mitigating risk appropriately. The right candidate is a self-motivated individual that is able to effectively work and communicate collaboratively / cross-functionally with multiple teams located in different geographies. The right candidate must have a hands-on approach, strong intellectual curiosity and attention to detail and organization.

Responsibilities:

This role, reporting to the Senior Director, Risk and Platforms Governance, will be responsible for:

  • Enhancing PayPal's risk committee governance framework, including creating or improving governance processes, developing templates, and driving alignment across global boards and risk committees.
  • Executing PayPal's comprehensive risk committee framework, including developing meeting agendas, shaping meeting materials, setting committee calendars, and drafting minutes.
  • Maintaining the system of record for PayPal's risk committee governance framework.
  • Reviewing key metrics and reporting and escalating to senior leadership and risk management committees / boards of directors.



  • Responding to requests for information from external partners, internal audit, and regulators or examiners.
  • Actively developing relationships and working collaboratively with cross functional groups.
  • Assisting in implementation of strategic initiatives.



Qualifications/Education/Experience/Skills:

  • Strong project management skills, with the ability to influence others.
  • Ability to multitask effortlessly and manage competing priorities under demanding deadlines.
  • Demonstrated ability to learn quickly, manage projects and drive/achieve results.
  • Strong computer knowledge; excellent MS Word, Excel, and PowerPoint skills.
  • Superior verbal and written communication skills.



  • Operate with strong integrity with the ability to handle projects of a sensitive and confidential nature.
  • Ability to prioritize work, meet deadlines, achieve goals, and work under pressure in a dynamic and complex environment.
  • Proven ability to operate in ambiguous environments and exhibit agility in navigating from current state to proposed solutions.
