Job Description:

The Operations Analyst provides support to the team responsible for managing and directing the flow of information between the Store Support Center and Field Operations. This individual carries out business analysis functions as well as systems and software maintenance to directly support Operations Managers, Operations Supervisors, and Senior Management. The Operations Analyst collaborates with cross-functional departments including Accounting, Human Resources, Information Systems, Special Projects and Category Management to gather information and create the appropriate reports to be distributed.

Responsibilities:
• Leads the creation and dissemination of reporting and analytics to Field Operations and other cross-functional teams as needed.• Drives the organization and facilitation of cross-functional meetings to develop, implement, and manage processes and projects to ensure field personnel receive value-added reports, data, and information in order to effectively increase profitability. • Identifies and analyzes operational and financial trends; assists in communicating findings and recommendations to Field Operations. • Works closely with the creation and deployment of the performance reporting software; is responsible for systems training and continual development of the technology. • Coordinates the flow of resources, personnel, information, reporting, and data between the Store Support Center and Field Operations.• Leads the support, analysis, and project management of the labor forecast system; collaborates closely with the Special Projects department and heads up the operations side of the system rollout. • Serves as a liaison and subject matter expert to field and SSC personnel by communicating metrics, reports, and processes to the appropriate user as well as receiving feedback from field operations to generate new reporting tools and projects.• Maintains an open line of communication and mutually-beneficial relationships between Field Operations and various Store Support Center teams. • Provides weekly/monthly financial and operational reporting to review financial performance and support business decisions• Executes ad hoc data analyses in response to business requests.• Presents analytical findings to RaceTrac executives on a regular basis.• Seeks out/identifies opportunities to provide value and insight.• Provides recommendations to internal stakeholders on project decisions based on analysis to ensure RaceTrac remains competitive in the marketplace.• Develops relationships and credibility with internal and external business partners.• Leads communications with internal and external partners to identify data needs, specify detailed data requests, and provide requirements for data handling and quality management.

Qualifications:
• Degree from an accredited 4-year college or university, or equivalent professional experience preferred• 1+ years professional experience in a related field preferred• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, specifically Microsoft Excel, preferred• Experience with financial planning and analysis preferred • Experience with Power BI or SQL preferred• Knowledge of retail operations, fuel industry, and expense allocation process desired
