As a Business Analytics Consultant Sr within PNC's Human Resources - Compensation organization, you will be based in Pittsburgh, PA or Cleveland, OH. This can be a remote position within the Pittsburgh, PA or Cleveland, OH market. Surrounding markets may be considered. In person activities may occur periodically based on business need.

This Business Analytics Consultant Sr be aligned to the Retail Comp team to perform complex analytics, create efficiencies, assist with recommendations and improve the visual representation of data.

Examples of job responsibilities:
-Develop and maintain reporting and dashboards using advanced skills in Excel and Tableau.
-Perform analytics combined with business knowledge to proactively identify opportunities.
-Make recommendations in partnership with LOB comp partners and managers. Assist with presentations and executive summaries.
-Create and own tools to assist team with offer and market analysis.
-Support large scale projects and initiatives from an analytical perspective. -Improve efficiencies and processes (i.e. offer exception process, manual tracking for retentions, etc).
-Main point of contact with HR metrics, HRIS, etc.

Job Description

  • Leverages complex analytical tools to provide business and technical expertise for the analytics process, tools and useful applications across multiple functions or business units to create data driven solutions.
  • Consulting to clients on tool and strategy implementation and monitoring, statistical scoring, business intelligence, data quality, and analytical product / solution development.
  • Determining the optimal analytic approach and supporting development, implementation and enhancements.
  • Conceptualizing, developing and continuously optimizing analytical solution for operations and executive management to enable data driven decision making.
  • Analyze results and make recommendations for key business partners and senior management or communicate conclusions from complex analytical solutions to a wide range of audiences.

Emerging Technologies - Knowledge of and ability to design, apply and evaluate new information technologies for business environments in order to improve work productivity and accuracy.

Work Experience

Roles at this level typically require a university / college degree, with 3+ years of relevant / direct industry experience. Certifications are often desired. In lieu of a degree, a comparable combination of education and experience (including military service) may be considered.
