Data Visualization Specialist

The Role  

We are looking for a Data Visualization Specialist to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and implementing solutions using the Microsoft Power Platform suite, including Power Apps, Power Automate, Power BI & Tableau. The ideal candidate should have a strong background in software development, experience with the Microsoft Power Platform & Tableau, and the ability to create solutions that improve business processes and decision-making. The Data Visualization Specialists specializes in creating custom business solutions using data visualization tools like Tableau and Power BI to analyze data, create reports, and dashboards, and ultimately extract insights to support business decision-making.

The Fidelity Workplace Consulting Group is composed of over 300 professionals who advise clients on the management of their domestic benefits. We are a fast-growing business within Fidelity, providing a broad range of services that touch on every area of benefits design, strategy, funding, communication, and delivery. While we focus on working with the Fortune 1000, we also work with Fidelity clients of all sizes. 

Data Consulting engages in data quality improvement efforts that span single and multiple product lines (i.e. Health and Welfare, Defined Benefit, Defined Contribution, Stock Plan Services and HR/Payroll) within the implementation and ongoing servicing client lifecycle.

The Expertise You Have and The Skills You Bring 

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Technology, or related field.
• Proven experience as a Power Platform Developer or in a similar role.
• Strong understanding Power Automate Power BI & Tableau
• Create data visualization and reporting solutions using Power BI.
• Creating interactive dashboards and reports using Tableau Desktop and Tableau Server.
• Developing Tableau reports and visualizations to meet business requirements.
• Validating data accuracy and consistency.
• Experience with common data service, data connectors, and APIs
• Strong SQL skillset in snowflake for writing views and querying data.
• Experience writing Data Mapping/Technical Documentation
• Power apps experience is a plus.
• Statistical knowledge and the ability to communicate findings to stakeholders with varying levels of technical knowledge.
• Knowledge of Fidelity backend product tables (WIDE, Snowflake, DBR1, etc.) a plus
• Demonstratable experience with working independently in a fast-paced environment while owning the outcome for the project
• Able to ask questions, explain complexities, consultative and develop options to help with solutioning, own the outcome/sense of ownership and responsible for their work and the quality they delivery Influencing skills in proposing solutions for business problems along with strong communication skills.

• Experience with JIRA a plus
