Be an essential member of a diverse team of professionals dedicated to making a lasting impact! We're a part of the data and analytics team within JPMorgan Wealth Management Finance that supports the National Branch and Self-Directed Investing businesses, as well as the Service Centers. This group partners with the finance teams and the businesses to provide reporting and insights into team and business performance, and identifying growth and efficiency opportunities.
As a Data Visualization Manager on the National Branch, Self-Directed Investing, and Service Finance team, you will help inform decisions by providing insights and opportunities through high quality reporting and dashboard development. You'll locate, query, and integrate relevant data from various systems. You'll organize data and communicate analytical results to support growth and process improvements across the business
Job responsibilities
  • Query and extract data from various sources for use in dashboards and reports.
  • Lead the design, development, testing, and implementation of data visualization projects to support business objectives.
  • Collaborate with data analysts, data scientists, dashboard developers, and business stakeholders to understand data requirements and translate them into effective visual solutions.
  • Develop and maintain dashboards, reports, and interactive visualizations using tools such as Tableau.
  • Unlock foundational insights to help grow the business and help it operate more efficiently.
  • Ensure data accuracy and integrity by implementing best practices in data visualization and data management.
  • Develop business focused reporting that enables the business to understand how they are performing.
  • Stay current with industry trends and emerging technologies in data visualization and analytics.
  • Communicate complex data insights in a clear and concise manner to various audiences, including senior management.
  • Work closely with IT and data engineering teams to ensure seamless integration of data sources and visualization tools.

Required qualifications, capabilities, and skills
  • Bachelor's degree in data science, Computer Science, Information Systems, Statistics, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 5 years of relevant experience developing and managing advanced BI dashboards involving data visualization and data analysis.
  • Strong Tableau dashboard design, development and server deployment knowledge.
  • Robust Alteryx workflows development and server deployment knowledge.
  • Experience writing complex SQL Queries for analyzing large data sets.
  • Strong understanding of testing methodologies and experience with test automation tools and frameworks.
  • Familiarity with programming tools such as Python, R or SAS.
  • Solution-oriented problem solver with strong collaboration skills.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.

Preferred qualifications, capabilities, and skills
  • Knowledge of Jira and Agile practices
  • Master's degree in a technical field.
  • Certifications in data visualization tools (e.g., Tableau Desktop Certified Professional, Alteryx Designer Core,).
  • Strong MS Office skills (Excel, PowerPoint)
  • Familiarity with machine learning and AI-driven data analytic and Databrick is a plus
