We are seeking a skilled Software Engineer (Data Visual Engineer) with 2-3 years of experience in designing, building, and maintaining scalable BI solutions and AI initiatives for the business of insurance.
In this role, you will transform raw data into meaningful insights through data modeling, dashboards, and analytics, enabling data-driven decision-making across the organization using Google products such as BigQuery, Looker, and LookML.
What You will Do
- Design, develop, and maintain BI Dashboards, Reports, and Visualizations using BigQuery, Looker, and LookML.
- Collaborate with the team to design and implement software utilizing object-oriented principles, design patterns, and testing practices.
- Ensure data accuracy, consistency, and performance across BI solutions.
- Review code written by peers, focusing on readability and efficiency.
- Integrate with third-party APIs (both REST and SOAP) using Python.
- Ensure that the entire stack is designed and built for security, speed, and scalability.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand requirements and deliver solutions aligned with business objectives, security requirements, and guidelines for data governance.
- Develop documentation for the team to support design discussions.
What You Will Need to Succeed
Your experience should include some or all of the following:
- Design, develop, and maintain BI Dashboards, Reports, and Visualizations using Looker or any similar BI Tools.
- Experience with BI tools such as Power BI, Tableau, Looker, or similar.
- Experience with SQL and BigQuery querying and optimizations.
