What will you be doing?
As a Data Solutions Analyst, you will deliver project‑based data and model solutions that ensure clients have accurate, fit‑for‑purpose models/databases aligned to their contractual agreements and business needs. You will act as a trusted point of expertise on how data is structured, interpreted, and used across the Unify and Temple analytics platforms, working directly with clients to design, implement, and explain data solutions. In this role, you will also serve as the first point of investigation for client data queries, ensuring questions are resolved through clear explanation or thorough analysis. Through close collaboration with Client User Experience and Client Data Delivery, you will ensure changes are implemented accurately, impacts are well understood, and clients receive consistent, high‑quality outcomes.
Job Responsibilities
- Deliver project‑based changes to client models/databases, delivering solutions in line with agreed requirements, scope, and timelines.
- Work directly with clients to understand data needs, explain proposed solutions, and ensure outcomes align with client use cases and expectations as well as Circana best practice data design principles.
- Build new client databases and models in line with contractual specifications, Circana standards, and established data design principles.
- Develop and apply strong knowledge of how data is structured and maintained within the Unify and Temple analytics platforms.
- Act as the first point of contact for client data queries, investigating discrepancies, validating data accuracy, and either explaining outcomes to clients or following issues through to resolution.
- Assess the impact of database or model changes on client reporting, collaborating closely with Client User Experience teams where changes may affect reports.
- Partner with Client Data Delivery teams to ensure checking procedures are updated appropriately in line with model/database changes.
- Independently manage priorities and workload, ensuring deadlines and commitments are met through effective planning, alignment with the line manager, and clear, proactive client communication.
- Communicate progress, risks, and dependencies clearly to internal stakeholders and clients throughout project delivery.
- Contribute to continuous improvement of data solution design, delivery processes, and cross‑team ways of working.
Requirements
- Tertiary qualification in Business, Commerce, Statistics, Mathematics, Data Analytics or similar (preferred)
- Data management related experience (preferred)
- Strong communication skills (both written and verbal)
- Ability to clearly communicate concepts and ideas
- Analytical and/or critical thinking skills
- Intermediate to Advanced Excel and MS Office (Word, Outlook, Access)
- Attention to detail, organisational and time management skills
- Problem solving skills
- Previous experience within FMCG preferable but not essential
