Conduent is seeking a Data and Analytics Solution Architect with cloud and data technology expertise who will be part of our Analytics Practice and will be expected to drive our analytics products development and lead a team of Data Engineers in delivering analytics solutions across several segments. This role requires a broad range of skills and the ability to step into different roles depending on the situation, size and scope of the project; its primary responsibility is to provide leadership on data and analytics solution architecture and adopt standardization across solutions. 

Responsibilities: 

• Design and implement products that comply with the standards and best practices across multiple businesses and domains. 
• Lead and mentor our global Data Engineering team and support Architecture Decisions. 
• Work closely with analytics practice leadership, and various Conduent business groups, clients and technology organizations to drive innovations and new analytics capabilities /offerings. 
• Lead teams to adopt our standardized approach to data and analytics capabilities and associated processes through a shared set of definitions, techniques, and processes 
• Drive the design, sizing, setup, etc. of cloud environments and related services 
• Reviews the solution requirements and consult the principal architect to ensure selection of appropriate technology, efficient use of resources and integration of multiple systems and technology. 
• Design, develop, and support conceptual/logical/physical data models for analytics solutions. 
• Work closely with the rest of the teams to provide data services for our analytics solutions, including modeling, stored procedures, replication, and other assistance to progress and meet technical and business goals. 
• Ensures that industry-accepted architecture principles, standards, guidelines and concepts are integrated with those of allied disciplines and coordinated roll-out and adoption strategies are in place. 
• Advising on new technology trends and possible adoption to maintain competitive advantage 
• Responsible for managing a junior team of 3-4 Data Engineers and BI Developers 

Experience Needed: 

• 12+ years industry experience and at least 4 years of experience in data, and analytics solutions and application architect role is required along with at least 3 years expereince designing and building analytics solutions across multiple cloud vendors (like Azure, AWS, Google) including leveraging open source ecosystem. Working experience on Azure is a Must. 
• Proficiency in Storage, ETL/ELT, Relational Databases, Cloud Databases, MPP’s, Model Data Transformation technology design and implementation. 
• Demonstrated experience as an architect delivering modern data architecture platforms and solutions with capabilities spanning data warehouse 
• A BS or Masters degree in Computer Science or related technical discipline is required 
• Demonstrated experience in DevOPs or equivalent industrial standard tools. 
• Demonstrated in depth skills with SQL Server, hadoop, spark, data lake with the ability to configure and administer all aspects of data environments. Fully versed and prepared to demonstrate a technical knowledge of database administration and management. 
• Must understand how to drive cloud architecture on Microsoft Azure. 
• Good to have knowledgeable about industry solutions like VMware Tanzu, DataBricks, SnowFlake, Cloudera etc. 
• Data Quality Management and Data Architecture standardization experience 
• Advanced study / knowledge in the field of computer science or software engineering along with advanced knowledge of software development and methodologies. 
• Is familiar with the principles and practices involved in development and maintenance of software solutions and architectures and in service delivery. 
• Has strong technical background and remains evergreen with technology and industry developments. 
• Good knowledge of Medallion architecture for Data Warehouse delivery
• Good knowledge of Azure Fabric along with working knowledge of Data Agent
• Good to have – at least 1 GenAI tool configuration and usage for Data Agents

Additional Requirements 

• Demonstrated ability to have successfully completed complex technical projects 
• Prior experience with application delivery using an Onshore/Offshore model 
• Experience with business processes across multiple Master data domains in a services or product based company 
• Demonstrates a rational and organized approach to the tasks undertaken and an awareness of the need to achieve quality. 
• Demonstrates high standards of professional behavior in dealings with clients, colleagues and staff. 
• Is able to make sound and far reaching decisions alone on major issues and to take full responsibility for them on a technical basis. 
• Strong written communication skills. Is effective and persuasive in both written and oral communication. • Experience with gathering end user requirements and writing technical documentation 
• • Time management and multitasking skills to effectively meet deadlines under time-to-market pressure
