JOB SUMMARY

Job Profile Summary

Essential Functions and Responsibilities

• Data analysis: Perform detailed data analysis to identify trends, correlations and patterns.

• Model Development: Develop and implement machine learning models to solve business problems.

• Cloud Development: Develop and implement cloud-based infrastructure to host and run data science models. 

• Data Visualization: Create dashboards and visualizations to present data insights.

• Collaboration: Collaborate with engineers, product managers and business stakeholders to understand requirements and deliver solutions.

• Stay current with industry trends, emerging technologies, and best practices in data science and analytics.

• Document methodologies, processes, and project outcomes to ensure transparency and knowledge sharing. Ensure all documentation is accurate, comprehensive, and up-to-date.

Education

• Bachelor's Degree in Data Science or related field

Work Experience

• 3 - 5 years related work experience Experience in data science or related field required

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities

• Skills in: Technical Skills: Strong proficiency in data analysis tools and programming languages (e.g., Python, R, SQL). Experience with big data technologies (e.g., Hadoop, Spark) is a plus.

• Skills in: Cloud: Proficient in cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, Databricks, Azure) with experience deploying and managing data solutions in cloud environments. 

• Skills in: Analytical Skills: Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities with a proven track record of developing complex models and algorithms.

• Skills in: Communication Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to explain complex technical concepts to non-technical audiences.

• Skills in: Leadership Skills: Demonstrated ability to lead, mentor, and manage a team of data professionals. Strong project management skills are essential.

• Ability to: Strategic Vision: Ability to develop and execute data science strategies that align with business objectives.

• Skills in: Collaboration: Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams and senior management.

• Skills in: Innovation: A proactive approach to identifying new opportunities and improving existing processes through data science.

• Ability to: Adaptability: Flexibility to adapt to changing business needs and evolving technology landscapes.
