Context

BPI – Banque Publique d’Investissement is a French and French-speaking client in the banking sector. This client is responsible for managing and providing financing to French companies in order to help them with their development.  BPI works with scaling Agile according to the SAFe methodology.

The Data Scientist will work in an agile development team. You will take part in a major business and IT transformation project, enabling the department to improve the user experience of its clients and banking partners. This involves offering a new range of products and services for managing and providing financing to French companies in order to help them with their development.

Required competencies/experience:

As a Data Scientist, you will work closely with multidisciplinary teams to develop analytical models, machine learning algorithms, and actionable solutions from data.

• Collect, clean, and transform complex datasets from various sources.

• Design and implement predictive models and machine learning algorithms.

• Analyze results and provide clear and concise reports on model performance.

• Collaborate with product and engineering teams to integrate data-driven solutions into business processes.

• Stay updated with the latest trends in data analysis and data science.

Must have:

• French (min. B2)

• Software development languages: Python, Spark and PostgreQSL database.

• Experience in working in a cloud environment

• Knowledge of Agile Methodologies (SAFe)

Would be a plus:

• Experience working with Cloud platform (AWS)

• Knowledge of Banking Sector
