As a Senior Data Scientist, you will collaborate with the Chase Auto Marketing team to assess marketing effectiveness, optimize audience targeting, and provide strategic insights that shape the future of our marketing initiatives. You will work closely with Marketing Strategy Managers, Brand Managers, Dealer Relationship Managers, and various consumer lines of business, finance, compliance, and controls.
Key Responsibilities:
- Partner with Chase Auto Marketing and Lines of Business (LOBs) to deliver data-driven insights that support strategic growth and direction.
- Develop and refine measurement frameworks and KPIs to enhance marketing effectiveness.
- Conduct proactive, self-driven analysis of large and complex datasets to formulate hypotheses, extract insights, and communicate findings through compelling data visualizations to diverse stakeholders.
- Prioritize and focus the analytics agenda to align with overall business strategy and maximize value.
- Collaborate with the broader Chase Marketing Analytics teams to improve the quality, value, and standardization of deliverables.
- Work alongside Marketing and Core Analytics partners to boost the overall performance of the Marketing team.
Required Qualifications, capabilities and skills:
- Masters in a related field, or at least 3 years of relevant industry experience in data science roles, with a focus on marketing analytics.
- Proficiency in Tableau, Alteryx, SQL, and Python.
- Expertise in data wrangling, including integrating multiple data sources into cohesive data assets and aggregating large datasets for specific purposes.
- Proven ability to define business KPIs and establish effective measurement frameworks.
- Strong analytical mindset with a passion for exploring results and uncovering deeper insights.
- Excellent communication skills, capable of engaging with executives, business partners, and technical teams in analytics and data management.
- Exceptional data storytelling abilities to convey analytical insights to stakeholders.
- Eagerness to thrive in a fast-paced, start-up-like environment and culture

- Previous experience in analytics supporting a marketing function
