The Data Quality Analyst 2 is responsible for participating in the establishment and implementation of Data Quality processes. The overall objective of this role is to contribute to improvement and performance activities by providing measurement, evaluation, and assessment services relating to Data Quality and data production.
Responsibilities:
- Accountable for monitoring, assessing, analysing, and/or evaluating processes and data to ensure their effectiveness and identify areas for improvement
- Interprets data and makes recommendations
- Identifies inconsistencies in data or results, defines business issues and formulates recommendations on policies, procedures, or practices
- Present information in a concise and logical way as well as be sensitive to audience diversity
- Report Data Quality defects through the Data Concern Remediation Management process
- Appropriately assess risk when business decisions are made, demonstrating consideration for the firm’s reputation and safeguarding Citigroup, its clients and assets, by driving compliance with applicable rules, laws, and regulations, adhering to Policy, applying sound ethical judgement regarding personal behaviour, conduct and business practices, and escalating managing and reporting control issues with transparency
Qualifications:
- 2-4 years of relevant experience
- Experience with basic Microsoft applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
- Working knowledge of Collibra and other Data Governance industry standard tools
- Intermediate proficiency in System Query Language (SQL)
- Working knowledge of Tableau (report consumer, developer, etc.)
- Demonstrated understanding of Database structures
- Working knowledge of industry practice and standards
- Analytical skills and attention to detail
- Flexible, team-oriented, and good interpersonal skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Ability to communicate effectively
Education:
- Bachelor's/University degree or equivalent experience
